The sitting volleyball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina won everithing they could win several time. These post-war hero's are the pride of the nation. But who they are outside of sport area? In the docimentary 'Wounded Gold' are four warm portraits of the coach and three key players who were children when they got heavly wounded during the Bosnian war. The documentary ‘Wounded Gold’ is literally and figuratively about trial and error. Getting wounded during a war, losing a leg, recovering, playing sitting volleyball and finally becoming European, World and Olympic champion with the national team! This is the story of the national sitting volleyball team of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
